At the 2010 SIA show, I ran into the team from Opedix Apparel.  A number of my athletes use their S1 and R1 tights and I wanted to get a little more info about the science behind their products.  Opedix uses proprietary fabrics designed specifically for comfort and support.  Their Opedix Knee Support System utilizes a patent-pending anchor and sling design to provide support to the outside of the knee, which reduces the amount of damaging outward movement and decreases the stresses or “load” on the knee joint."
