Starting Position

Standing with hands grabbing handle.

Procedure

 
  1. Begin with feet shoulder width apart and hands gripping handle slightly above shoulder level.
  2. Slowly bring the hands down across the body in a wood chopping motion, squatting down with the opposite side leg.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position.
  4. Repeat for the suggested number of repetitions.
  5. Repeat with the other side.

Coaching Keys

 
  • As you are bringing the arms across the body lean into the opposing hip.
  • Keep the abdominals tight or flexed
